Since her graduation she has been prominent in various civic and religious organizations both in Greensboro, N.C. and Charlotte, N.C., having been President of the Mental Hygene Society of Charlotte, N.C., and Parent-Teacher Association and an officer in the University Women and Charity League. Through these activities and her writings she has become recognized as one of the outstanding women of Charlotte and has been written up as one of the women builders of Charlotte.
